Pastors Terry and Tina Richardson

Reverends Terry and Tina Richardson have been in full-time ministry for over 30 years. The Richardsons have served in children, youth, associate, and senior pastor positions in the Dallas metroplex, Los Angeles, and Houston areas. Married in 1980, they have two daughters, a son-in-law, and a precious granddaughter.

Terry, ordained in 1990 with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Waxahachie, Texas, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and Evangelism. He received a Master’s Degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2001, following the leading of the Holy Spirit, Terry and Tina returned as Senior Pastors to the church they attended as teenagers: Valley Hi Assembly of God, San Antonio, Texas. His passion is to shepherd the congregation God has entrusted to him with anointed preaching, teaching, discipleship, love and compassion.

Tina, ordained in 2011 with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, California, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She received a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas, becoming licensed to practice in 1993. Tina practices criminal law, serving as a federal prosecutor with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas – San Antonio Division. An anointed minister of the Word, Tina ministers internationally and throughout the United States at women’s conferences, conventions, and retreats as well as in the pulpits of local churches. Her greatest desire is to see the lives of people changed by the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Reverends Jason and Lupita Sandoval joined the Valley Hi Assembly of God ministry team in August, 2009, serving as our Youth Pastors. Jason, a San Antonio native, and Lupita, raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, are graduates of Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Waxahachie, Texas. Jason served as the Children’s Pastor at Life Church, Midlothian, Texas, while working full-time as an elementary classroom teacher. Prior to their marriage, Lupita served as Children’s Pastor at in inner city church in downtown Albuquerque. She currently is employed as a second grade bilingual teacher.

Pastor Jason and Lupita’s passion is to reach beyond the four walls of the church. They continually encourage others with their dedication, determination and commitment to do the work of God. Pastor Jason and Lupita desire to see people have an encounter with God, and to grow in their spiritual life. They minister with a zeal for connecting youth to God, because they recognize that youth with a relationship with Christ will change this world.

Pastor David and Jessica Holley

Creative Arts Pastor

Pastor David and Jessica were born and raised in Alabama. With pastors and ministry staff on both sides of their families, they have been actively involved in the Church since their childhood. Pastor David became actively involved in music ministry at age 13. He started leading worship at age 15 in his youth group and high school. A graduate of Southeastern University in 2007, Pastor David received a Bachelor of Science in Practical Theology, with a dual major of Ministry Arts and Pastoral Ministry and minors in Church Music and Theatre. Pastor David has served in music/drama ministry in several churches, as well as a Bible teacher and worship director for a Christian school.

Jessica served in several ministries as a teenager, and always knew ministry would be a constant in her future. Wanting to help people and make a difference, Jessica attended the University of South Alabama, graduating in 2009 with a degree in nursing. While attending school, Jessica and Pastor David met. Married in 2009, they became ministry partners for life.

Community Pastor

Pastor Josh Travieso, a native of San Antonio, Texas, joined the Valley Hi Assembly of God ministry team in January, 2011, serving as the Community and Outreach Pastor for our congregation and surrounding areas. Graduating from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in December, 2010, Pastor Josh received a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry and an Associate of Arts in Bible. Pastor Josh strives to identify new evangelistic opportunities and develop existing and new work by motivating, building, and training teams of church members and/or in partnership with other groups in our community and beyond. A very gifted and talented minister, he also leads Praise & Worship for Ignite, the youth ministry of Valley Hi, and our bilingual service. Additionally, Pastor Josh serves as coordinator for Fine Arts and Discipleship.
